I met him at Englebert Complex, the Toronto Blue Jays spring training facility in Dunedin, Florida in 1992.
John signed a 1992 Donruss card #98. Two years later I couldn't resist and had to try and get the August 1993 Beckett Baseball Card Monthly issue signed, not only by John Olerud but by Roberto Alomar and Joe Carter as well.
